My name is Jonathan Dorthe and I’m a designer based in Montreal. Atelier-D is born from my desire to reinterpret traditional craft techniques. I use new technologies to produce limited editions of everyday contemporary objects. Inspired by my studies in architecture and interest in patterns, I create an architectural vocabulary by mixing motifs with materials. Throughout the collections, Atelier-D strives to define contemporary craftsmanship.
